Rev. Ian Kellogg, Minister
Ian has been the minister at Mill Woods United since 2014. This is his second posting as a minister. The first was in Saskatchewan, from 2011 to 2013, in three churches south of Moose Jaw along the border with Montana.
Before becoming a minister, Ian worked as a librarian and database content manager in Toronto.
Ian is inspired by the many activities of Mill Woods United and loves working with others to share and live out the good news of the God who is Love.
Bryan LeGrow, Music Director
Bryan LeGrow is an Edmonton based composer, pianist, and vocalist. He has completed his Diploma of Music from Grant MacEwan University, and his Bachelor of Music from the University of Alberta. Bryan works as an accompanist with many Edmonton choirs including Kokopelli, Tamariki, the Edmonton Children’s Opera Chorus, and Victoria School of the Arts. In addition to accompanying, Bryan composes and arranges choral music, and has had many pieces performed internationally. Bryan has sung with many choirs and vocal groups including Kokopelli, Òran, and the TIME association. He is also the founder and Baritone of the six person a cappella group, High Street Sound.
Janice Martin, Administrator
Janice has been working as our Administrator since September 1991. Hers is the friendly and informative voice you hear when you call our church office and the person to see for all the church bookings. In addition to providing secretarial services to the minister and congregational committees, she produces our the weekly bulletins and Morning Messenger, and maintains all our church records and enjoys expressing her creativity with the church newsletter ‘Connections’. During the spring, summer and fall when she is not at work she is likely on the golf course.
Paula Kirman, Marketing Project Coordinator
Paula joined our staff as a part-time Marketing Coordinator in May of 2016. Her expertise and hard work on social media and our website helps to boost the church’s online profile. She comes from an extensive background of working with non-profit and faith groups, utilizing her skills in the areas of writing, editing, photography, videography, website design/content, and social media consulting. Paula is also involved with the local peace movement, a board member of the Edmonton Interfaith Centre for Education and Action, and administrates the email list for the Moving Forward reconciliation group with Edmonton Presbytery.
Laura Webster, Caretaker
Laura has been with us since March 2007. She is the person who takes care of our building making sure it is clean and ready for the numerous and various activities that take place each week. Laura takes great pride in knowing that our church is always sparkling clean.
