April 22-May 20, 2021, “Ishmael” book study

Over five Thursday evenings this spring, you are invited to join a Zoom gathering to discuss a 1992 philosophical novel by Daniel Quinn. In just over 250  pages, “Ishmael” explores ethics, the Book of Genesis, and sustainability. A perennial best-seller, it has been especially influential among environmentalists.
“Ishmael” is available as an e-book for $15, in many bookstores for $25, and from the Edmonton Public Library.
If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please contact Carla Janzen (carlajj@shaw.ca) or Ian Kellogg (iankellogg@hotmail.com). The first group will be on April 22 at 7 pm on Zoom.
